Data and Analytical Tools to Visualize Knowledge

How can we collect, analyse and visualise big data and use them to foster policy dialogue and social innovation? This webinar presents some methods and techniques, as well as available free software, to help social actors, civil society members and policy analysts to cope with the enormous production of research and big data information and visualise information and research in a specific sector or issue of their interests. The aim is to present some basic concepts and techniques and demonstrate their applicability in real situations. The migration issue in the Balkans will be used as a case study. It is based on the researcher’s experience and results carried out in the framework of the RESEE Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (re-see.eu project) and the ERC SolRoutes project.
